Gnome
These diminutive humanoids look very much like short Dwarves (but don't say that to their face), who carry all manners of tools, gadgets, inventions and the like. Their true love is tinkering-creating new inventions-which often results in more than a few injuries. They are clever and quick-witted with the durability of the Dwarves, but are mercurial in nature, going from cheerfulness to boiling anger to brooding silence within moments. They stand roughly three to four feet tall, though many who have underestimated a Gnome based on it's size before a battle have lamented the fact soon after. Gnomes are more suited for spellcasting than hand to hand combat. They are very wise and resourceful in everything they go about, and have developed a very unique ability to pierce any magical wards of their enemies.

Racial Abilities
tinker
Tinker is the Gnomes natural ability to change the properties of items with their hands. The item must be in their inventory in order to be tinkered with, not worn or on the ground, or otherwise unreachable by the Gnome. Tinkering with an item will most likely repair a damaged item to a better state. There is a chance, however, that an item will
further become damaged if you tinker with it, so beware.
