Kristallyn
The Kristallyn are a race of beings formed of living crystal. Legend states the Kristallyn are magically minded, but slow physically due to their nearly solid bodies. This race is nearly as old as the dirt you stand on, but have only been recently discovered as they have spent most of their lives living deep underground. Ancient tales suggest that when the Kristallyn is killed they shatter violently in a storm of razor sharp shards of crystal.
