Requiem

The charm of Bards' music has found its way not just into the hearts of mortals. When a Bard dies on earth, the whole high heaven is shaken. Angels and even Gods mourn the death of one who has brought the beauty of music to the world. As the Bard's heart stops beating, they all sing in a somber chorus to honor him for the last time. To the mortals, it sounds as though the heavens are themselves breaking into a melody so grievous, everyone is deeply shaken and the creature that killed the Bard is left stunned with what it has just done. Not all the creatures are so sensitive though.
